About the event
Form Wars is a team forms competition happening this July at T.O. Westlake Karate.
Students will be placed on teams of three, with a mix of ranks on each team. Each team will choose their own team name and compete every Thursday in a different forms challenge.
Each round will have a new theme, such as traditional forms, weapons, forms to music, interpretation, and more. Teams will be judged each week, and a weekly winner will be announced. Overall scores will stay private until the final results.
At the end of Form Wars, the winning team will earn the Form Wars Camo Belt with their names on it and will get to wear it for the month of August.
This event is free for active students, but sign-up is required so instructors can create fair and balanced teams.
