We are proud to announce that T.O. Westlake Karate will be hosting our Annual Karate Olympics on Saturday, September 28th, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This thrilling event is an opportunity for our students to showcase their skills and participate in various fitness challenges, time trials, and team-based events. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
Here’s what you can expect:
Fitness Challenges:
- Push-Ups: How many push-ups can you do in 30 seconds?
- Sit-Ups: Test your core strength with the most sit-ups in 30 seconds.
- Jump-Overs: How many times can you jump over a target in 30 seconds?
- Laps: Race against the clock to complete the most laps in 30 seconds.
Time Trials: Â
- Punches: See how many punches you can throw in 30 seconds.
- Round Kicks: Fast feet? Show it off with the most round kicks in 30 seconds.
- Front Kicks: Challenge yourself to complete as many front kicks as possible in 30 seconds.
- Board Breaking: Take your power to the next level by breaking as many boards as you can in 30 seconds!
Team Events: Â
- Obstacle Course: Work with your team to conquer a karate-themed obstacle course.
- Round Kicks Across the Mat: Test your balance and speed in this team-based round kick challenge.
- Target Punches: Precision and power will help your team punch through hoops!
- Flying Side Kicks: End the day with this thrilling challenge as you aim to hit targets mid-air.

The entry fee is $20 per participant, which covers all events.
